  Here is an unusual collection of songs that members of MEBUYAN wrote and entered in Davao's annual World Music competition "Tunog Mindanaw" from 2008 to 2013.
  
  Several of the songs have garnered the top, second, and third prizes. And they competed against each other.
  
  So, no, they were not originally performed by MEBUYAN as a band—rather they were performed by members of MEBUYAN with a merry mix of Davao musicians from the rock to jazz to reggae genres.
  
  We have two bonus tracks—”Sarap ng Buhay” by Bayang Barrios (arranged by Mike Villegas) and “Sa Dabaw na Ta” by Paolo Sisi and brother Peejay.
  
  This is a COLLECTOR’S ITEM; and was quickly put together for the survivors of typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) in Tacloban City. To them we offer music, prayers, and whatever money is raised from selling this album. If you bought this album—DAGHANG SALAMAT!
